October, the forgotten month for many. Often overshadowed by September and the excitement surrounding the big school return. Rushed through while people eagerly await Halloween at the end of the month, bonfire night in November and the Christmas break in the not too far distant future!
However, October 2016 will forever be ingrained in the memories of all the staff and my lovely colleagues here at Temporis, and what a great month it’s been!

Winning the SME Emerging category at the National Women in Business Awards for Yorkshire, North East and Scotland Regional Final was the culmination of three years of hard work put in by everyone here at Temporis Towers! Our Managing Director, Lucy, faced strong competition from some amazing women from all over the North of England and Scotland, and did extremely well to have even been short listed for this prestigious award. It is down to her determination to make a difference within recruitment and change the way recruiters are seen by their Clients and Colleagues that Lucy walked away as the winner on the 14th October. I must also take this opportunity to mention the team work that has gone in to making Temporis the excellent business it is, we work hard and play hard together, and as October has proven we reap the rewards together.

October the 18th also saw our brilliant new resourcer Amy pass her probation and secure her spot with Temporis as an invaluable cog in the Temporis mill. Amy has truly brought a breath of fresh air with her into the offices at Temporis, and with her bright and helpful character has already cemented herself as firm favourite among our candidates and clients.

In October Temporis moved to bigger and better premises! Having outgrown our lovely second offices, on Monday 3rd October, we made our third move in just over three years to a stunning new premises! Complete with it’s own meeting room, employee “chill out” area and kitchen/ eating room it really is an amazing place to work and expand! The move away from the office where 2 became 8 was a big step for all of us but the transition now gives us room to grow and continue on in the brilliant direction in which we are headed.

So I will leave you with this thought:
