    The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

    • An ability to comfortably and efficiently handle a residential conveyancing caseload that consists of sales and purchases, deeds of easement and variation, auction sales, sale and purchase of leasehold and new build purchases

    • Comfortable interacting with clients in face to face meetings

    • Ability to build long lasting and productive relationships with local estate agents

    This firm are looking for a driven, personable and level-headed individual with either a proven track record of handling high-volume caseloads and working closely with local estate agents, or someone who can demonstrate that they are ready to make that step up.

    Core Skills:

    Day to Day Work:

    • Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to solicitors handling a private client caseload that includes wills, probate, estate administration, LPAs and trusts

    • Producing letters and legal documents

    • Answering telephone calls in a professional manner and providing reception cover when required

    • Dealing with enquiries from clients and other legal professionals via email, fax, letter and in person

    • Copying, scanning and faxing as required

    • Opening, closing and archiving files

    • AML and compliance 

    • Liaising with the accounts team re bank transfers, cheques etc

    • Filing, diary management and other general administration work
