Join a leading claimant firm handling complex and high-value clinical negligence cases from initial investigation through to settlement or trial. You’ll work closely with senior partners and medical experts to deliver excellent outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of claimant clinical negligence files

• Draft pleadings, witness statements, and schedules of loss

• Conduct settlement negotiations and attend mediations

• Liaise with medical experts and counsel

• Supervise junior team members as required

Essential Skills/Experience:

• 4+ years’ PQE in claimant clinical negligence

• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills

• Excellent client care and communication ability

• Proven track record of handling high-value claims

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience in catastrophic injury or birth injury claims

• Exposure to costs management and budgeting

• Familiarity with Proclaim or similar case management systems

Take sole responsibility for a varied commercial property caseload, acting for both high-street and panel clients. Matters will include acquisitions, disposals, leases, and refinancing. You’ll have the benefit of full secretarial and case management support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a mixed commercial property caseload independently

• Handle sales, purchases, leases, and refinancing transactions

• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors

• Ensure files progress efficiently through to completion

• Maintain compliance with regulatory and firm standards

Essential Skills/Experience:

• 5+ years’ PQE in commercial property law

• Proven ability to work autonomously as a sole locum

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills

• Excellent client communication and organisational skills

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience with panel clients and lender work

• Familiarity with commercial landlord and tenant matters

• Proficiency with legal case management systems
